Bucchero cup on high foot decorated with heads and studs. The production of bucchero is a typical Etruscan shiny black pottery. It began as imitation of bronze with embossed decoration. The shops that produced bucchero among the last decades of the seventh and sixth BC were scattered throughout Etruria: Vulci, Tarquinia, Cerveteri, Chiusi, Orvieto, Roselle and Vetulonia.
